FromSoftware has revealed plans for the upcoming "Shadow of the Erdtree" downloadable content (DLC) for its critically acclaimed action role-playing game, Elden Ring. The DLC, which is the only planned expansion for the game, will introduce players to an entirely new area with unique challenges and rewards.

Access Requirements and Location

To access the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, players must first defeat two specific bosses in the main game. Once these bosses have been defeated, players can find the entrance to the new area at Miquella's Cocoon, which is located in the northern part of the world map.

High-Level Area

The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is designed as a high-level area, meaning that players are recommended to be at a high level before attempting to explore it. The new area will feature new enemies, bosses, and loot that are tailored to experienced players.
